“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
— Maya Angelou
Modeling the way
The workplace is evolving. I intend to support what’s coming next.
Some leaders and established professionals are scared of change. I only see the possibility of what’s to come.
Happier workers. People fulfilled after a long work day, not drained.
I aim to empower managers and employers to change how they’re interacting with their workforce. The onus is on those in power to treat those without, with care.
You might believe me to be hyperbolic if I draw parallels between workers seeking increased autonomy and professional development in the workplace with any of MLK’s teachings. But he just wanted equality for people no matter their skin color or class standing.
Now, people are fighting for fair treatment in factories, kitchen lines and corporate settings. Because mistreatment is rife everywhere. This is just a continuous of civil rights.
How do you change the paradigm?
Listen to the voices of your workforce. They’re being clear as day.
